How To Install The Pure Plus Pro Under Sink Filtration System

Hi, Cam here with a quick video on how to upgrade your existing under sink filtration system
to our new Pure Plus Pro Upgrade Kit.

The Upgrade Kit includes a high capacity Carbon Block Filter to remove up to ninety nine
percent of all the incoming chlorine the cartridge is also rated to remove parasitic cysts such
as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.

The unique sanitary change head connection allows for quick and stress-free filter changes.

The space-saving design of the PPP cartridge incorporates the actions of 3 filters
within one, allowing more space under bench to be utilised forkitchen items as well as
minimising the effect on the environment once discarded.

The sanitary quick-change filter technology used in the Pure Plus Pro System provides
a quick and easy way to change the filter cartridge without the need for tools, towels or buckets.

A twist of the cartridge and the filter is removed and replaced making it the choice for many
DIY homeowners.

If you are finding it difficult to source reasonably priced replacement filter cartridges for your existing filter system or if undoing your existing filter housing has just become too difficult,
the Pure Plus Pro Upgrade Kit is the solution you could be looking for.

And now I can show you how easy it is to install the upgrade kit, first identify the point of your incoming water, there should be a stop valve located before the filter line starts, simply
turn it to the off position, move across to your faucet on top of the sink there, by opening
this up and allowing the water to flow out freely you're actually depressurising the system,
making it safe to undo the bottom casing.

Using a set of tube cutters or sharp Stanley knife, mark out about a quarter of an inch
away from the filter housing and just snip that tube line.

Carry that out on both sides.

You can then remove the old filter housing, what you want to do here is just inspect the
thing has been cut straight, if it hasn't for any reason, come back in about 5 millimetres
and just cut that nice and straight, this will help join the tubing to the filter head.

Do that on both sides, then grab the filter head, the filter head has markings on it to
show which one is the inlet and which one is the outlet, in this case we are going to
connect the inlet first, so grabbing the tube, push that into the quick connection on the
side and that will go in about five millimetres, you can be certain that is secure by pulling
back on it and then do that on the other side for the outlet, both those connections are
quite strongly put together, you can see by me pulling away here that they are not going
to come out.

We can now take the filter cartridge and remove the red safety cap, take the cartridge
and fit it all the way into the base of the filter head, push that up as far as it can
go and then turn clockwise, that will ensure it is nicely seated in place, go back through
to the isolation tap that's been turned off at this time and turn it to the on position,
this will allow the water to flow back into the cartridge again and you should be able
to hear it move through there quite quickly, you want to leave that about a minute or two
and just double check all of the connection points and make sure that there are no leaks
happening.

Move through to the faucet and turn the faucet on, what will happen initially
is that there will be some white and grey material that will come through and the glass
will look almost milky when it fills up, that's just air being released from the filter cartridge
and is perfectly safe. once that stops after about five litres, you can simply turn the
filter tap back off again and the system is ready to use.

How To Install Your Samsung Fridge Filter

Hi! Cam here, with a quick video on how to identify the correct water filter for your
Samsung fridge.

The water filter required for your refrigerator will depend on the model of the fridge that you have within your home.

Often the codes used on white goods can be long and complicated, I can show you in a
few easy steps on where you can find them on your refrigerator now.

On French door models, the internal label is located on the left hand side of the fridge's shelving, and the external label is located at the base of the fridge's left hand side exterior.

For side by side models, the internal label is located in the left of the top door, and the external
label is located on the left hand side of the freezer drawer.

For combi fridges, the internal label is located on the inside left of the refrigerator, and the external label is located at the base of the left of the fridge.

On single door fridges, the internal label is located on the inside left of the refrigerator, and the external label is located at the base of the left hand side of the fridge.

When Should You Change A Refrigerator Water Filter?

Hi! Cam here, with some handy tips on fridge filter life.

We’re often asked by consumers how often they should be changing their fridge water
filters, generally most filtration experts and manufacturers alike recommend that the
filter should be changed every six months to keep them safe and working at peak
performance.

This six month figure is calculated on a standard application, and can vary according to a
number of different factors. These factors include areas that are experiencing high
sediment which can prematurely block a water filter.

Equally, water filters that are used to provide more than ten litres of water per day will
exceed the 1800 litre capacity, which is the six months period of normal usage, this means
you’ll have to change the filter earlier than the six month expected date.

Extending your fridge filter’s life capacity can allow for dirt, particular matter, and scale
to build up on the inside of the fridge’s componentry, it can also lead to some really
unpleasant tastes and odours that you might experience. Making sure that ‘re changing the
filter on time is really important, sometimes the time frame isn’t always going to be the
perfect six months. There are some key ways that you can tell whether your fridge filter
needs changing, and I’ll run through them now with you.

If you’re experiencing any of the four mentioned symptoms within your refrigerator at the
moment, it may be time for you to change your water filter. Please give us a call today
to discuss.
